Here are Some Video Clips that
will give you and idea of how the trains look and sound with the DCC, Digitrax, SoundTraxx
and factory integrated QSI decoders.
These are .wmv files as
they are smaller and should load quicker and easier. I may have given up
some quality doing this but it's probably better than falling asleep
waiting. These clips do not do justice to the
actual sight and sound but they will give you a good idea of what you can look
forward too. I do not have any fancy recording equipment (that
should be obvious), so theirs no dubbing or skullduggery here. The mic on
the camera picks up the sound directly and maybe a bit more focused (loader)
that when just running around the layout. Other than that, what you see
(and hear), is what ya get! Please be
patient as they load.

This is a Atlas HO Dash 8-40CW with the built in QSI sound system. This is factory equipped and ready to roll like this out of the box. You will find QSI equipped engines now from many engine manufactures like Atlas, Broadway Limited and LifeLike Proto 2000's.
This is an Athearn Genesis F-3 A & B pair. The A unit is equipped with a SoundTraxx DSD-At100LC sound & motor decoder with a 3/4" speaker in a 3/4" SoundTraxx speaker baffle. The B unit is also powered and is equipped with a Digitrax DH121 motor decoder. Notice the Mars lights, the red warning backup light, the engine sound, bell, and horn. These sound are actually recorded on this clip from the engine. The A & B unite are programmed with separate addresses and are running in consist.
Two Proto 2000 (1989 run) C&O BL2's pulling there load in consist through town. Both engines are fully functional and pulling their weight. There's no dummy here. Both are equipped with Digitrax DH142 decoders and have 4 FX lights as well as speed stabilization. The DCC consists feature allows me to operate the pair as one engine. Notice the mars light on the top engine.
New! This is my Bachmann 3 Truck Shay with SoundTraxx DSD-B3TSLC decoder. This decoder included a speaker kit that fits in the coal bin
This is a Proto 2000 AT&SF E6 passenger line coming into a station stop. This engine is equipped with a SoundTraxx DSD-LL100LC. Notice the diesel engine sound, the horn, bell, and mars light.
This is a new Atlas Master GP-38. This Engine can be found on the Engine's section of the store as it is a New Engine in inventory for sale. The Atlas Master's come equipped with a basic DCC decoder ready to run. This engine is quite impressive on how smooth and quiet it runs.
